Mitchell is a boutique agency that focuses on the unique Florida Commercial Residential property market. I wanted to convey strength and stability, both important aspects of both insurance and building. I chose to create the logo out of blocks, with the negative space creating the company’s M. The brand colors were navy and silver, but the client was flexible, so I updated them to a lighter platinum, sky blue and indigo, which contrast a little harder against one another and make everything “pop” a little more. Too avoid creating a heavy, masculine look, I gave the logo rounded edges to contrast the hard edges of the font. The font choice was a heavy/light, thick/thin contrast for a more modernized look.
